  2. This is awesome. Thanks for this article. It seems to make sense, financially and practically, to make libraries more relevant to 'the times' and actually be more interactive than just dusty books on a shelf. I think that the amount of "knowledge" that libraries can contain is only enhanced by ideas like this, at least in terms of offering meaningful learning experiences. Maybe museum curators can learn a little bit about rethinking their traditional roles from looking at the enthusiasm that is expressed regarding these ideas about what a space can offer to the public for free? Just a thought.

  3. I've been there for my Ethical & Pedagogical class. It's really surprising to see the teens so engaged to the media available to them. And seeing them using it as a venue to hang out and either create work together or to lounge in a safe environment is pretty cool. Did you see my Ning blog post? The video from PBS features this!
